Green Onion青蔥

從同學那邊聽到了一個好玩的事情：種青蔥...
美國的青蔥比台灣貴，同學說他們買一把，回來種在水裡...
我想，這真是個好方法，也去買了一把回來種...
嘿嘿，效果真好～
這幾天我都有吃到青蔥喔！
真好！
可惜這邊沒有賣韭菜...
連包水餃的內餡我都有加青蔥喔！
剪快光了，現在都又長出新的了！
這麼棒的方法，怎麼我在台灣都沒有做呢？
省錢～又方便...^____^y

包水餃＆煮紅豆湯

上次跟Nina學姐去Ingria家包水餃聚餐，剩下來的絞肉我們帶了一盒回來，所以我就想說那就去買水餃皮好了。今天晚上就想說就一次解決吧！把上次弄好的高麗菜紅蘿蔔加上今天額外加的菜，嘿嘿，還滿豐富的阿！

雖然美國沒有韭菜，但用青蔥來代替也是不錯的啦！
我喜歡豐富的顏色，看起來就很好吃！

美國的水餃皮比較沒有彈性，目前是買到方的...
可是聽說Kroger這間超市有在賣圓的喔！
不過我是不太有意願再包了啦！
一人獨立完成...
是不麻煩，但是～
花了不少時間，做機械性的動作...
整個手手都好乾喔！
很多道手續，如果可以吃很多天的話，再考慮吧！

總共包完了，共52顆～
好看嗎？
希望明天煮起來是很讚的！


包好水餃後，就剛好可以享受我的紅豆湯了喔...
紅豆湯對女生很好的，可以補血...



唉！還是要節制一點...
太常弄吃的我怕會變胖...
算了，吃還是要吃...
還是少量美食，多多運動...

重點是要跟大家講，在這邊還是可以享受到台灣美食的啦！
只是種類不多...
但不用太擔心我，呵呵！

Krosa 科蘿莎颱風

看來這個科蘿莎颱風對台灣影響不小，希望大家都平安無事。

所謂potluck就是每個人要帶一道食物，到時大家一起分享。

還滿好玩的啦，這邊很流行這套...

在台灣倒是比較不常有這個活動...

很多食物都是有半成品可以買，所以這邊做食物很方便也很簡單...

我現在偶爾會用家裡的大烤箱，還滿好玩的...

不過不想變胖，所以還是不要太常弄有的沒有的食物好了...

Cooking class

Tonight we wnet to Nancy and Kevin’s house for cooking class(every other week). Howerevr, they are not at home tonight because they went to Minnesota to visit Kevin’s family. I takes them two days for driving to Minnestota, which is next to Canada. And they will spend ten days for this trip.

Ray Boutz (Boutz daddy) gave up a ride to Nancy’s house. Everyone brings a dish of food there, and that’s potluck. Tonight Boutz mommy show us how to make a vanilla pie, and it is easy to make American food because most of the things are ready made. After finish the pie, she put it into the oven, and then we prayed and began to eat.
I brought the baked potatoes there, hope it tastes not to bad.

Boutz mommy taught herself to make to purse with leather.Boutz mommy will have the surgery next week for her eyes. I’m not for sure what she has the surgery for, maybe is the glaucoma or the cataract. I cost her a lot of money, but she looks still happy. Howerver, this surgery may affect their plan to visit Taiwan next Summer.
青光眼(Glaucoma):青光眼是眼球裡面的壓力升高，壓迫到視神經，使其受損死亡，而造成的視力喪失。
白內障(cataract):手術治療 : 為白內障唯一直接有效的方法，利用手術，將混濁的水晶體移除，置入人工水晶體，手術之成功率高達百分之九十九以上，大部分局部麻醉，術後就可出院，不必住院，約幾周就可恢復，白內障手術幾乎不會造成併發症。
Boutz daddy works for the State Park. It’s the hunting season, and they hunt everything. The State wants to control the quantity of the living animals in the forest so that they can have a balance life. Hunters can buy the hunting license and hunt for free but the limit have to be controlled. Boutz daddy waits for the hunters bringing him the animals they hunt and weigh for them and make the record so that the State Park can control it. That’s Boutz daddy’s job.
I tried to make to photos tonight, but I failed because of the dull light inside the house. I’m so disappointed. Maybe I’ll try next time to make a beautiful photo.
Mich mentioned about 11/3 at his house that he will teach us how to use the gun. His hobby is to collect guns, it’s so different. But maybe it could be fun. You know what that they can have guns so easy only if you have the driver’s license. So almost everyone can have a gun if they want to. But Mich said that most people have guns for hunting.
